Oi! (8xs) Oi! (8x) All those lies that you told people bought them up like they were gold And all those lies that you said Demonic apparitions inside your head I'm not afraid of your machinations Innuendo, slander and exaggerations Even though fools are It Must Suck to Be You All the pain and lies that you put me through When I was in your spell What I thought was bliss was truly hell And then you chose to defame And my thoughts of you have never been the same The fallacious ramblings of a wounded child Got internet gangstas wilin' out! They don't know... It Must Suck to Be You All the games and lies that you put me through It Must Suck To Be You All the pain and blame that I felt from you Belong to you Oi! (8x) Oi! (8x) All those lies that you sold Awakened hurt so very old And though there's been a lot of pain My lessons here will not be in vain Try and damage my reputation with your narcissistic musings and imagination You won't win It Must Suck to Be You All The games and lies that you put me through It Must Suck To Be You All the pain and blame that I felt from you Belongs to you Oi! (16x)

Beauty Hurts 04:16
Heaven in your eyes... How would I know? Angel in disguise? How would I know? Dear you are divine... How would I know? Truth and love are kind... How would we know? Heaven in your eyes How would I know? Angel in disguise? How would I know? Dear you are divine How would I know? Truth and love are kind How would we know? I'd like to know... So...I... Let...Go... How would I know? How would I know? How would I know? How would I know? When this beauty hurts so beautiful? This beauty hurts... Hurts so much... I find myself longing for an imagined touch And I don't know... What this all means... I'm enamored by a beauty that I've never seen How would I know? How would I know? How would I know? How would I know? When this beauty hurts so beautiful? I find myself longing for... I find myself longing for... I find myself longing for.... Your imagined touch

about

"It Must Suck To Be You/Beauty Hurts" is my take on a throwback A side/B side single. Two contrasting tracks. "It Must Suck To Be You" is an ska/soul/punk anthem that is an unflinching call out of a narcissistic smear campaign. The "Oi!'s" throughout are a defiant battle cry to the conformity of the present day 'The online mob".

"Beauty Hurts" is a 4:16 epic journey of being swept up grandeur, romance and infatuation. The fine line being an innocent crush turning into obsessive limerence. The tension between the fantasy based on physical beauty, curiosity based on shared interests and the actual depth of relationship one has to someone. The questioning of devotions and offerings. "How would I know?" The song asks. Where's the line between infatuation of the mind and authentic interest of the heart and soul. Is there a line. The operatic soprano is the siren out of reach. The French Horn choir is a grandness of offering, the falsetto voice is the edge and vulnerability of his heart. The harp the presence of something angelic or otherworldly. Ultimately, he is compelled to dance.
